Lip-sync
Control how much of your video is sung to camera, switch it per scene, and repair a clip whose mouth is off.
Lip-sync makes a character mouth the lyrics in time with your song. You set the overall amount at setup, adjust it scene by scene, and can repair a single clip afterwards.
Set how much of the video lip-syncs
Under Advanced → Lipsync Control on the setup page, choose a stop:
| Stop | Roughly |
|---|---|
| Off | No scene lip-syncs |
| A Little | About 30% of the scenes with vocals |
| Balanced | About 50% |
| More (default) | About 70% |
| Full | Every scene with vocals |
Lower stops cost less — each shows its discount compared with Full.
Turn lip-sync on or off for one scene
Each scene card has a Lipsync / No lipsync chip. Click it — or use Convert to lipsync / Convert to no-lipsync in the card's ⋮ menu.
- If the scene has no video yet, the change is free — it applies when the video renders.
- If the scene already has a video, the change re-renders it. Studio shows the cost first; cancel to keep the current clip and regenerate later. The card then says "Lip-sync setting changed — this clip still shows the old one." until you regenerate.
- If Cremi found no vocals in that part of the song, it warns No singing detected here. Choose Turn on anyway if you know the scene is sung.
Fix lip-sync on a finished clip
When a clip's mouth is out of time with the song, use ⋮ → Fix lip-sync on that scene.
- It re-animates only the mouth. The picture stays the same.
- It's paid, priced by the length of the clip, and shows the cost before you confirm.
- It won't fix the wrong person singing, or a mouth that moves when nobody is singing — for those, regenerate the scene instead.
Common problems
- The wrong character sings a line — Studio infers who sings from the voices it hears. Tell the AI Director which character sings that scene, then regenerate the video.
- A scene I expected to sing doesn't — check the chip on the card; switch it to Lipsync and regenerate.
