Song & setup
Add your song, trim it, and choose the concept, style, quality and video tier before analysis.
The setup page (Upload your song) is where every Studio project starts. Everything here can be set in a couple of minutes; only Start Analysis spends credits.
Add your song
- Paste a link into Paste a song link — or drop a file here and click Import. Links from Suno, SoundCloud, YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, or a direct audio link work — make sure the link is public.
- Or click Upload (or drop a file) — MP3, WAV or FLAC (M4A, AAC and OGG work too), up to 50 MB.
- Or pick one of the sample songs next to or try our samples: — See more lists them all, and Browse your songs reuses a track you uploaded before.
Trim to the part you want
Studio prices a project by the length of the song, so a shorter cut costs less.
- Click Trim next to your song.
- Drag the handles, or pick a Quick length — 30s, 60s, 120s or 180s.
- Click Use this cut. Your original song stays in your library.
Describe your concept (optional)
Your Concept takes up to 8,000 characters. Describe a vision rather than a shot list — a mood, a setting, a story. Leave it empty and the AI writes one from your song.
Choose characters
Decide who appears in the video — your own photos, an AI-generated cast, or no recurring character. See Characters & casting.
Pick a visual style
Choose Realistic, 3D Animation, 2D Animation or Anime. A style is required before you can start.
Output quality and video tier
- Output quality sets the resolution: HD (720p) by default, with higher options depending on your plan. You can upscale the finished video later, so HD is a safe start.
- Video tier sets the quality of every scene video: Budget, Signature or Premium. Each shows its rate in credits per second of video. You must choose one — Studio never picks it for you.
Advanced options
Open Advanced for:
- Aspect ratio — 16:9 Landscape. Other ratios are marked coming soon.
- Lipsync Control — how much of the video lip-syncs to the vocals: Off, A Little, Balanced, More (the default) or Full. Less lip-sync costs less; each stop shows its discount. See Lip-sync.
- Storyboard images (on some accounts) — On · Storyboard images gives every scene a still image you can review; Off · Refs only skips the stills, which is faster and cheaper, and gives you a Blueprint instead. Changing it needs a paid plan.
Start Analysis
Press Start Analysis — its cost is shown inside the button. If something is missing (a song, a character, a style or a tier), the button tells you what to add instead of starting.
