Troubleshooting & FAQ
Fixes for the most common Studio problems — stuck renders, failed scenes, lip-sync, credits and downloads.
Most Studio problems have a quick fix. If yours isn't here, press Support in the top bar of your project — including the project link makes it much faster to help.
Generation
A render seems stuck
Video renders take minutes, and a busy queue adds to that. The project keeps working if you leave the page — come back to it rather than starting again, which would charge twice. Press Sync in the top bar to refresh the latest state.
A scene failed
Failed scenes are refunded automatically (Credits refunded). Retry just that scene — or Retry N Failed Videos for all of them. A retry costs the same as the first attempt did.
"The provider flagged your song's audio"
Some video providers occasionally refuse a song's audio. Studio retries on its own; if it still fails, the scene fails normally and is refunded. The refusal is the provider's decision and support can't override it.
The result doesn't match what I asked for
Regenerate the specific scene with a concrete instruction — name the subject, the setting and the camera framing. Vague prompts give the model room to drift. Fix it at the storyboard stage if you can — it's far cheaper than re-rendering video.
Characters & lip-sync
The wrong person sings a line
Studio infers who sings each line from the voices it hears. Tell the AI Director which character sings that scene, then regenerate its video. Fix lip-sync won't change who sings — it only re-times the mouth. See Lip-sync.
The mouth is out of time with the song
Use ⋮ → Fix lip-sync on that scene. It re-animates only the mouth and keeps the picture.
My duet only has one singer
Add a character for the missing voice at setup, before you generate the storyboard. If the storyboard already exists, tell the AI Director which character sings each part, then regenerate those scenes. See Characters & casting.
Credits
Why does a step ask me to upgrade?
Either your balance doesn't cover the step (on the free plan, Generate Blueprint always asks), or you chose a tier or quality your plan doesn't include. The prompt says which. You can upgrade or Switch to … and continue. See Credits & costs.
I added credits but the project still won't generate
You've likely reached the project's spending cap or a run budget. Both are separate from your balance — see Spending cap and run budget.
Where did my credits go?
Click Usage in the project's top bar for a breakdown of what this project has used, or see your account-wide ledger under Usage in your account settings.
Downloads
I can't download my scenes
Download on the Finals stage saves your finished video. Download Scenes and per-scene downloads need a paid plan or a Download Pass — see Pricing. Also check the render finished: a scene still rendering has nothing to save yet.
My final video is out of date
You changed scenes after rendering. Press Re-render with latest scenes on the Finals stage.
Still stuck?
Use Support in the project's top bar, or Help → Get Support or Send Feedback in the main menu, and include the project link.
